Who says impending destruction can't have a good soundtrack?

Sunday morning, I listened to National Radio's wall-to-wall coverage of the impending Tsunami for a couple of hours.

Then I went to my CD rack (yes, yes ... I am that old) and pulled out this. Followed by this. And it all felt a bit better.

Andrew, I wonder what you will be listening to when the Tsunami of local government reform breaks over Auckland.

We all knew that the process was kicked off by business interests and Bob Harvy's inability to work constructively within the mayoral forum, but to hear Rodney Hide claiming it in his speech at the ACT party conference (http://www.act.org.nz/news/promises) was disspiriting.

To follow the Lou Reed theme, perhaps the song he co-wrote with John Cale about his mentor, Andy Warhol being gut shot by Valerie Solanis.

Purchasers should really create the appropriate selection of the Adidas ClimaCool Ride – especially the running shoes. Any wrong selection as well as expose the athletes to the danger of dermal infection plus the story will finally end up getting visiting the doctor as well as taking expensive antibiotics.
